Local-first project data
Localdeck stores project configuration, project paths, commands, links, notes, logs, and usage sessions locally on your Mac. Localdeck does not send this content to SUPERLOOP SLU or to its analytics provider.
Device Preview temporarily makes the local services you select accessible to other devices on the same local network. This traffic is proxied by the Localdeck application on your Mac and is not routed through SUPERLOOP SLU servers.
Anonymous application analytics
Localdeck uses TelemetryDeck to understand whether core product workflows work and which features are used. Analytics are enabled by default and can be disabled at any time in Localdeck Settings.
The application sends a randomly generated installation identifier, application and system version information, and a limited set of predefined product events. These events may include:
- opening the application;
- adding a project;
- starting a process or workspace;
- starting Device Preview;
- a predefined category when a process fails to start.
Analytics never include project names, filesystem paths, URLs, commands, logs, notes, or project content. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving Localdeck. You can object by disabling anonymous analytics in Settings.
Website analytics and cookies
The Localdeck website uses a self-hosted Umami installation to measure aggregate website usage. It is configured as cookieless analytics and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Localdeck does not intentionally set advertising or profiling cookies. Third-party services opened from this website, including the checkout provider, may apply their own strictly necessary or optional technologies under their own policies.
Purchases and licence activation
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record and processes payment, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, and order information under its own privacy policy.
When you activate or validate a Localdeck Pro licence, Localdeck sends the licence key, a device instance name, and the licence instance identifier to Lemon Squeezy. The licence key is stored in the macOS Keychain. Non-sensitive activation status is stored locally on your Mac.
Affiliate referrals
If you visit Localdeck or purchase a licence through an affiliate link, Lemon Squeezy may process referral identifiers and purchase attribution data to identify the referring affiliate and calculate commissions. Lemon Squeezy processes this information under its own privacy policy and affiliate programme terms.
Affiliates do not receive your licence key, payment details, project data, or application usage analytics from Localdeck.
Support and feedback
If you contact us, we process your email address, message, and any diagnostic information you choose to provide so that we can answer your request. Do not include secrets, licence keys, or private project content in support messages.
Recipients and international transfers
Data may be processed by service providers required to operate Localdeck, including TelemetryDeck, Lemon Squeezy, website hosting, and email providers. Where processing involves an international transfer, the provider's applicable safeguards and data-processing terms apply.
Retention
Local project data remains on your Mac until you delete it. Support correspondence is retained only while needed to resolve the request and meet legal obligations. Purchase and accounting records are retained for the periods required by law. Analytics are retained according to the configured retention periods of TelemetryDeck and the self-hosted Umami installation.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing by emailing hello@localdeck.dev. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency or your local supervisory authority.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Localdeck's features, providers, or legal obligations change. The latest version and update date will remain available on this page.
