What Localdeck tracks
Localdeck records time while a managed project process runs. It does not inspect code, files, logs, or the work performed during that time.
Usage records remain locally on the Mac and are separate from anonymous product analytics.
Review and correct sessions
Open Usage from a project's menu to review totals and individual sessions. Sessions can be edited when their start or end time is incorrect.
Pause tracking during inactivity
Enable Pause usage tracking while idle in Settings. Tracking pauses after 15 minutes without Mac input and resumes automatically when activity returns.
Idle detection pauses only time tracking. It does not stop the development process.
Delete usage data
Usage settings include an option to remove recorded usage data. Localdeck requests confirmation before deleting it.
