HelpLocaldeck

Settings, shortcuts, updates, and privacy

Configure Localdeck, open it quickly, control updates, and understand anonymous analytics.

Open Localdeck and Settings

  • Click the Localdeck menu bar icon to open or close the project window.
  • Use the global Localdeck shortcut to open the project window without clicking the menu bar.
  • Open the gear menu for Settings, My Plan, Help, and Quit Localdeck.
  • Right-click the menu bar icon for common app actions.

Appearance and launch at login

Settings controls whether Localdeck follows the system appearance, always uses light mode, or always uses dark mode. Launch at login keeps Localdeck available after signing in to the Mac.

App updates

Localdeck checks for signed updates periodically. Settings lets you check manually and decide whether updates install automatically.

Anonymous product analytics

Anonymous analytics help identify which Localdeck workflows are useful and where errors occur. They never include project names, paths, URLs, commands, logs, notes, or file contents.

Analytics can be disabled in Settings. The installation identifier shown there helps diagnose product analytics without identifying a person.

Diagnostics and feedback

Settings provides actions to report a bug, request an improvement, and copy diagnostic information. Review copied information before sharing it.
